Why do you do puzzles?

We each have our own good reasons for doing puzzles, and every day I hear from customers who tell us exactly why they have chosen a particular puzzle and how much good it does for them.

Puzzles are much more than just a pastime

At one point during the coronavirus pandemic, doing puzzles was mostly seen as a pastime. Today, however, the situation with puzzles is completely different. Many people today do puzzles because they have discovered that puzzles are good for their mental well-being.

Puzzles for arthritis in the fingers

For example, I have heard from Merete in Østerbro, who has arthritis in her fingers and needs to do exercises. Merete has a large collection of beautiful puzzles, and Merete is very fond of Christmas puzzles. The best exercises she can think of for her hands and fingers are putting together puzzles, where she can quietly use the fingers on both hands and keep them moving with small movements. It is not too strenuous, and at the same time Merete enjoys herself. And at the same time she also keeps her head moving and enjoys the puzzle motifs that she thinks are the most beautiful.

Puzzles with city motifs take you on a journey

I have also heard from Grethe from Struer, who is particularly fond of puzzles with city motifs. Grethe has teenage grandchildren, and she would like to spend more time with them. None of us can go to New York when it suits us, but we can certainly get there in our dreams and thoughts, and that is why Grethe chose, among other things, 2 city puzzles from eeBoo, which she has put together with her grandchildren. The 2 cities are Paris and New York, and I wonder if more cities will be added to the collection?
